INGREDIENTS
- Vegetable or Canola Oil (enough for 2-3 inches in pan)
- 1 Cup Flour
- 1 Cup Beer of Choice
- Salt and Pepper
- Small can or jar of marinated artichoke hearts (drained and patted dry) or cooked fresh artichoke hearts
- Sour cream
- Ranch dip mix
- Sriracha to taste
INSTRUCTIONS
- Heat oil to 375ºF
- In a bowl, whisk together flour, beer, salt, and pepper
- When oil has reached 375ºF, dip dried artichoke hearts in batter and place in fryer (work in batches as to not overcrowd the oil)
- Fry until artichoke hearts are golden brown. Remove from oil and let drain. Repeat until all artichoke hearts have been fried
- For dip, mix ranch packet into sour cream and add Sriracha to taste
