Bombshell Brownies

Ingredients

  • OLIVE OIL . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 1 tsp
  • SALTED BUTTER . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 1/2 cup, melted
  • POWDERED WHITE SUGAR . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 1 cup
  • VANILLA EXTRACT . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 1 tsp
  • EGGS . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 2 large
  • REFINED FLOUR . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 3/4 cup
  • UNSWEETENED COCOA POWDER . . . . . . . . . . . . 1/2 cup
  • DARK CHOCOLATE CHIPS . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 1/2 cup
  • ICING SUGAR . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .1 tsp, to dust
  • OREOS . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 1 pack

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees and line a baking tray with aluminum foil.
  2. Brush the aluminum foil with the olive oil — cover all the insides of the baking tray.
  3. Add the butter, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, to a large bowl. Mix it all together until well combined and slightly fluffy.
  4. Break the eggs into a separate bowl and add the eggs to the sugar mixture one at a time.
  5. Whisk the mixture again until the mixture is smooth and frothy in consistency.
  6. Sift the flour and cocoa powder in to the egg mixture and again beat the mixture until the ingredients are just combined.
  7. Stir in the chocolate chips, Oreos and spread the mixture evenly on to the prepared baking tray.
  8. Bake for 15 minutes.
  9. Remove the tray, let cool and dust the brownie with icing sugar.
