If money solved problems, California politicians in power would be out of work, the people would have plentiful water, and farmers and workers would be employed. So, money is diverted from the original intent, to bolster special interest organizations, and keep career politicians in office, and therefore in power.California, and the man made water shortage, has empowered many a politician, and padded the pockets of many a union boss.In 2014 voters approved Prop. 1, allocating $7.1 billion for water projects. Prop. 68, allocated another $4.0 billion for water projects. And not a single new reservoir was built.
Water was flushed to the ocean, and the citizens of California are told we must ration water, pay more for the water we receive, while billions of gallons of fresh water are lost, and become sea water. The day that California solves the water distribution issue, is the day a one party political machine is defeated in this state.Plentiful water, bountiful land, and billions of dollars in tax payer money……….and not a single new drop of water for farms or homes. The only crops that the majority politicians are concerned with, is the tax payers dollars, and political power.
